The company continues to invest heavily in design, marketing, advertising, machinery and in building solid long-term partnerships with suppliers and customers. Today, they see the most important elements in this success as the dedication of their employees and a great team spirit.

Graham and Brown have invested significantly in the Shuttleworth Mead Business Park, with a dedicated hi-tech warehouse and distribution outlet covering 146,000 sq. ft - enough room to fit in 20 semi-detached houses! Managing Director of Ribble Industrial Estates Ltd, Ken Ingham welcomes the investment made by Graham and Brown and said "Graham and Brown have been able to take advantage of the excellent location of the Shuttleworth Mead Business Park and obtained a prime site due to their very early interest in the scheme. Massey Tankers
Massey Tankers Specialist road tanker designer and manufacturer Massey Tankers Ltd are now located in a state of the art facility at Shuttleworth Mead Business Park. The construction of this building, and investment in the latest manufacturing technology, has been supported by the award of a grant, through Burnley Council's Economic Development Unit "Unlocking Investment Programme".

Massey Tankers is a growing and innovative company formed in 1994. Drawing on many years experience, many of the personnel came from the long established Milk Marketing Board, they have supplied road tankers for the milk and edible products industry since their creation. Long time customers include Express Dairies and an expansion in their range to include fuel tankers has resulted in contracts from companies whose end users include British Airways, Tarmac and Jarvis Construction.

The successful development of the company over the last six years has lead to this relocation to a prestigious new site with a building tailored to their requirements.

Managing director Mr Keith Brown says, "The new factory will certainly provide staff with a better working environment. We will have more floor space and an ideal layout with improved equipment. The access to the building and to the motorway network will be much improved and we will be positioned to recruit skilled personnel from a wider catchment area. These factors will improve our manufacturing efficiency and ensure that we continue to offer a competitive, quality service as orders increase."

"The financial support provided by Burnley's 'Unlocking Investment Programme' has allowed us to choose a building and equipment that enable us to maintain our competitiveness and will lead to the creation of twenty new jobs. We are delighted to have the councils continuing support in our relocation and have found it a great help during this challenging period in Massey Tankers development," said Keith Brown.
